Alternatively, there are a handful of charming boutique hotels and private villas on the island for those who prefer to stay elsewhere.

Like many of the most wonderful places on earth, getting to the Caribbean can be a bit of a trek – but it's part of the adventure and makes it even more rewarding once you arrive.

The most common way to get to Nevis is to fly to Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport (SKB) in St. Kitts.
